Ubuntu12　vagrant up Setting hostname・・でエラー！！

Ubuntu14のBox(ubuntu/trusty64)で動かせていたプロジェクトをコピーしてBoxを変更した。

（php5.3が使いたかったため）

 

php5.3を使いたかったので、Ubuntu14(php5.6)のBox(ubuntu/trusty64)のvagrant+ansible設定をコピーして、

BoxをUbuntu12(ubuntu/precise64)のBoxに変更し、vagrant upを実行すると・・

早速エラーが！！

う〜ん。。

そもそもset-hostnameのところに表示されているホスト名がVagrantfileで設定している名前を違う・・

設定してるホスト名にドットが入ってたからか？と思っていろいろいじってみたけど、同じエラーが。。

 

ググる先生に聞いてみると、

どうやらVagrantがUbuntuのホスト名設定の変更に対応できてないバージョンがあるみたい。

調べてみると、確かにvagrant 1.7.3 だった。

この時点では、まだ1.7.4がリリースされていない感じだったけど、見てみるとすでにリリースされていたので、

vagrantを1.7.4に変更して、もう一度 vagrant up!!

 

動いた〜〜〜

Ubuntu14は、vagrant1.7.3で動いたのにねぇ。。

 

ググる先生、ありがとう。

Mac .DS_Storeファイルを隠す方法

Macユーザー悩みのたね？　.DS_Storeファイルを隠せる方法があったなんて！

フォルダをコピーしたりするときも邪魔だし、

削除しても湧いてくる？し。。

でもファインダーでの「不可視項目の表示」は譲れないし・・

 

で、うっとおしいと思いながらも画面していたのだけど、なんと隠せるアプリがあった（今頃知ったw）

そもそも作らなくするアプリもあるみたいだけど、一応、フォルダの情報とか持ってて仕事はしているファイルみたいなので、

隠すだけにしたい。

asepsisというアプリは、ファイルの機能はそのままに、置き場所を変える感じにしてくれるみたい。

（隠してる訳ではなかった　汗）

早速、brew cask を使ってインストール

ansibleを使って環境メンテファイルを使ったけど、単独ですると、$brew cask install asepsis　かな。

無事インストールが終わったら、PCの再起動が必要。

アプリケーションのところにアイコンが出来てなかったけど、大丈夫みたい。

（気になって、caskフォルダにあったpkgをダブルクリックしてインストール画面出てきたけど、

他のPCでやったとき何もしなくても動いた。。）

 

アプリをダウンロードしてインストールする場合は、

http://asepsis.binaryage.com/#installation　から。

こちらもインストールして再起動。

 

元々作成されていた　.DS_Storeファイルは削除されないみたい。

ゴミ箱に入れると、　/usr/local/.dscageに　情報が保存された。

でも、新規フォルダを作ったりファイルを作ったりしてみてもここにファイルが出来ない！？

元々あるのは移動するけど、新規には作成しないってことかなぁ？？

位置や大きさ情報が保存されてるか試したけど、アプリによるのかよくわからなかった・・

 

まぁ、様子をみよう

mac(Yosemite)にwindows8.1を入れる

mac, win

windowが別マシンだといろいろ不便なので、とうとうmacに入れてみることに。

window10を待とうかと思ったけど、8.1からは1年間無料でアップグレード出来るみたいなので、思い切って購入。

でも、1年間を過ぎた後に、macに入れなおすとなると、やっぱりアップグレードのお金がかかるんだろうな。。

 

とりあえずParallels Desktop 10 for macはインストール済み。

仮想環境にwindow8.1をインストールする。

 

１．新規仮想マシン作成

Parallels Desktopを起動したら勝手に画面が出てきた。

更に追加するときは、メニューの　ファイル　＞　新規　で同じ画面が出てくる

DVDからインストールするので、左側を選択して、「続行」クリック

 

Win2

DVDを選択して、ドライブにwindow8.1のディスクを挿入。

通常版を購入したので、32bitと64bit両方のディスクが入っていたので、64bitにしてみた。

「続行」ボタンが活性になるので、クリック

 

Win3

プロダクトキーを入力して「続行」クリック

 

Win4

ひとつしか選べなかったので、無難に業務用ツールを選択

後からでも変えられるっぽい。

 

Win5

絶対win7ライクの方が使いやすいと思うけど、一度は見てみたいので、ひとまずwin8ライクで続行

 

Win6

名前とロケーションはデフォルトのままでいいので、

「インストール前に構成をカスタマイズする」にチェックを入れて「続行」クリック

 

Win7

ハードウェアタブに切り替え

Win8

メモリの設定がかなり小さかったので、８Gにアップ。

64bit版だし、winにしかない動画編集ソフトとかを使うことも目的なので、

多めに設定。

macはメモリ16GBにアップしてあるし、問題ないだろう。

都合が悪かったら後からでも変更出来そう。

構成ポップアップを閉じて、「続行」クリック

セットアップが開始されるのでしばし待つ。

Parallels Desktop 10 for Macインストール

今までWindowsは別のマシンを使ってきたけど、

とうとうOSをYosemiteにしたタイミングで、winも入れてみることに。

BootCampは切り替えに再起動が必要とのことで使いにくそうなので、

無料のVirtualBoxと悩んだけど、出来るだけストレスなく使いたいので、有料のParallels Desktopを入れることにした。

Amazonで購入。

CDが入ってそうな箱できたけど、中身は紙切れ２枚のみ（＠＠）

分かっててもなんか寂しい（笑）

 

１．ダウンロード

Parallelsのサイトよりダウンロードhttp://www.parallels.com/jp/welcome-new/

言われるとおりに、ダウンロードしてる間にビデオ見たけど、英語だった！

 

２．インストール　＆　アクティベート

ダウンロードされたParallelsDesktop-10.2.1-29006.dmgをダブルクリック

「インストール」画像あたりをクリック

「インストール”はインターネットからダウンロードされたアプリケーションです。開いてもよろしいですか？」確認が出たので、「開く」クリック

「同意する」クリック

何のために聞かれてるのかわからない・・

とりあえず「自宅」選択

管理者パスワードを入力

しばし待つ

登録ダブの方に移動して、プロダクト登録

購入した箱に入っていたプロダクトアクティベーションキーを入力。

入力し終わると自動的に判定されて、「アクティベート」ボタンが活性状態になったので、クリック

無事インストール＆アクティベート完了！

Ubuntu chef-solo cook エラー　ERROR: RuntimeError: chef-solo failed. See output above.

仮想マシン　Ubuntu環境

$ knife solo cook vagrant@host名

すると、エラーが出る

ERROR: RuntimeError: chef-solo failed. See output above.

Ubuntuは一番はじめにパッケージを更新しないといけないらしい。

仮想マシンにsshログイン後、

$ sudo apt-key update

$ sudo apt-get update

 

でもいろいろやってるうちに、なぜがエラーが消えてた・・

実行してないけど、一応メモ

mac osx10.9 treeコマンド使いたい

グーグル先生がよく使っている、「tree」

でも自分の環境で打つと、使えない。

$ tree

-bash: tree: command not found

インストールしないとダメみたい。

ググる先生の指示にしたがい、インストール

$ sudo brew install tree

あれ orz

そもそも、Homebrewがインストールされてないか。。

使ったことなかったからなぁ。。

ということで、まずはHomebrewをインストール

無事入ったっぽい。

$ brew -v

 状態をチェックするコマンドがあるみたいなので、実行してみる。

$ brew doctor

問題なさそう。

Homebrewのアップデート実行も時々やるといいらしい。

$ brew update

そこで、本題に戻って、treeインストールを再度実行

$ sudo brew install tree

エラーが・・

sudoじゃ実行出来ないみたい。。

sudo を外して実行しちゃう

追記：

個人開発環境用なので、chef soloを勉強していこうと思っていたのに、どうやらそのうちなくなるらしい・・

その代わりになるのが、Chef Zero だそう。

最初からこっちを勉強しよう。。

デベロップツールを先にインストールしないとダメ？

グーグル先生の指示に従い、下記コマンドにてCommand Line Developer Toolsインストール

$ xcode-select –install

xcode-select: note: install requested for command line developer tools

 

Macintosh HD bash 177×54

インストールをクリックして、画面に従いインストール

インストールが無事完了したので、Xcodeのライセンスに同意

$ sudo xcodebuild -license

ひたすらスペースキーを押して文章を読んで（？）最後に「agree」を入力

 

By typing ‘agree’ you are agreeing to the terms of the software license agreements. Type ‘print’ to print them or anything else to cancel, [agree, print, cancel]  agree

なんかいろいろいじってたら、壊れた

$ vagrant provision

==> default: Running provisioner: chef_solo…

==> default: Detected Chef (latest) is already installed

machine. The fix is to run a `vagrant reload` so that the proper shared

folders will be prepared and mounted on the VM.

どうやら、さっきいじっていた、フォルダー同期が原因っぽい。

{vagrantディレクトリ}/machines/default/virtualbox配下にある、

synced_foldersファイルを削除

$ vagrant reload –provision

いじる前の動きに戻った！

まだ何個かエラーらしきものはあるけど・・

vagrant boxダウンロード〜起動まで

vagrant, VirtualBox

http://www.vagrantbox.es/　からboxをダウンロード

今回は、参考サイトにあったURLで

$ vagrant box add ubuntu http://files.vagrantup.com/lucid64.box

完了したら、ダウンロード確認

$ vagrant box list

precise64 (virtualbox, 0)

ubuntu    (virtualbox, 0)

セットアップディレクトリ作成を作成し、移動。

$ mkdir hoge

$ cd hoge

仮想マシン初期化

$ vagrant init ubuntu

A `Vagrantfile` has been placed in this directory. You are now

ready to `vagrant up` your first virtual environment! Please read

the comments in the Vagrantfile as well as documentation on

`vagrantup.com` for more information on using Vagrant.

hogeフォルダの中に、Vagrantfileが出来ているはず。

仮想マシン起動

$ vagrant up

VirtualBox マネージャーで見ると、追加されて実行中になっている
